HONORED
AS ONE OF THE TOP TEN Massachusetts LAWYERS OF THE YEAR
FOR 2009
By Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
ATTORNEY MARY
T. ROGERS
Attorney Rogers graduated cum laude from Suffolk
University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts in 1987. She obtained her B.A. from Boston University in 1984.
She was a law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of
Massachusetts for two years from 1987-1989. This experience gave her extra insight into the way judges think and how
decisions are made by a judge. She worked at the Boston, Massachusetts law firm, DiMento & Sullivan, where
she practiced both criminal defense and civil cases in both state and federal court. Since 1993, Attorney Rogers has
concentrated on criminal defense. She is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
When people ask Attorney Rogers if it matters if her client
"did it or not" she tells them: "Every client deserves the very best defense and that is true whether the client committed
the crime or not. The Constitution was created to ensure that everyone gets an excellent criminal defense and no
one will be wrongly convicted."
